Boeing Korea Engineering and Technology Center (BKETC) is seeking a Software Engineer (Connected Cabin) based in Seoul, South Korea .

Job Responsibilities

  • All software engineering activities to design software architecture, develops codes, document, manage requirements, verify codes for software systems

  • Develops software verification plans, test procedures and test environments, executing the test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met

  • Performs basic software project management tasks and software supplier management functions

  • Executes and documents software research and development projects

  • Tracks and evaluates software team and supplier performance to ensure product and process conformance to project plans and industry standards

  • Works with a technical lead to decompose and partition system requirements to software requirements

  • Works as a member of the International team with the members in one or more countries where English is the common language

  • Must want to work within an Agile development environment and should also demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Math etc

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with the software development lifecycle (requirements analysis, design, code, integration & test)

  • Applicants must have demonstrated skillsets of or within software development teams solving challenging problems

  • Experiences in software coding more than 1+ software languages (e.g. C, C++, Java, Python, and so on)

  • Strong passion for developing high-quality product

  • Highly motivated "roll up your sleeves" attitude with a strong drive for success and teamwork

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Proper English communication skill in verbal and written

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Math etc

  • Involvement with products developed using Agile software development practices

  • Experience programming in Object Oriented Languages: C++, Java, Python, etc.

  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration Platforms

  • Knowledge of AS9115 and DO-178 requirements

  • Experience in Automotive, Aerospace and/or other similar industries is a strong plus.

  • Experience in IOT Systems and/or Wireless Network System (Handheld, Telematics, Wi-Fi and more)
