The Opportunity

Training professional who is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs for agency channel. Training department plays a crucial role in ensuring agent and manager development. To uplift skills and professional insurance knowledge and ensure best agency. We are looking for a training professional to support training and development for agents and agency managers.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, education or equivalent

  • Minimum 3 years’ working experience, at least three years with insurance- experience in the life insurance industry

  • Front-line sales, training and customer services experience preferred

  • Able to conduct training /presentation in Cantonese, Putonghua and English are a plus

  • Insurance Product knowledge and willingness to learn new products and procedures

  • Good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

  • Customer centric and result oriented

  • Good team player while working independently

  • Good command of Cantonese, Putonghua, and English, both spoken and written

  • Proficient in MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel

On the job you will:

  • Conduct foundation training to support new agent development such as IIQE Prep Class for licensing requirements, Initial Training Course and 90 Days Program, etc.

  • Proactively source CPD programs, external and agency speakers as well as support application of CPD program, both assessment and re-assessment, etc.

  • Be responsible for daily training administration support, training system maintenance such as ManuAcademy, CPDTS and training record keeping and management.

  • Administer training program evaluation and continuous improvement based on user feedback, training needs analysis, and program evaluation.

  • Assist in training curriculum development and design new training program development such as CPD programs, agency business training as requested by agency users

  • Maintain strong business relationship and good communication with Hong Kong Training Department for collaboration

  • Assist in training budget planning and daily expense monitoring which include vendor setup and payment processing, etc.

  • Possess strong sense of risk control and compliance. Gain a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements, internal training requirements and act accordingly. Comply with the business operations process established by the company and department.
