Oracle JAPAC Event Specialist in Malaysia

Job Description

As the JAPAC Events Specialist, you will be responsible for driving event execution excellence and operational effectiveness supporting a variety of in-person events for the Japan and Asia Pacific (JAPAC) markets. We are looking for a passionate, motivated and energetic individual willing to get hands-on to drive efficiencies across our regional events, from planning through to execution. You will be required to work closely with our Global and JAPAC Digital Marketing teams, Global Web teams and Regional and Field Marketing teams to deliver best in class event series.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Asset Creation Briefs via the Production and Localisation team

  • Set up cadence calls including external Customer speakers.

  • Ensure compliance and legal requirements are met when onboarding Customer speakers.

  • Submit audience segmentation lists for events.

  • Manage the event setup.

  • Setup and schedule: Emails, Registration Pages, Web pages.

  • Work with Production and Localisation Team to ensure the PPT deck is brand approved.

  • Managing employees working on events.

  • Carrying out administrative duties such as booking hotels etc.

  • Setting clear objectives and targets for events, alongside plans for how to meet these.

  • Helping to promote events and liaising with stakeholders.

  • Gathering feedback and data after an event and using it to inform decisions/future plans.

  • Coming up with new and innovative ideas – both for events and event promotion.

  • Working within a budget for events and managing spending accordingly.

  • Problem solving and hosting during an event.

  • Share weekly reports on registrations with Stakeholders and Campaign Marketing Team.

  • Set up and launch the on-demand assets following each event.

Management & Stakeholder Responsibilities:

  • Work with Global and JAPAC Digital Marketing teams to support the implementation of the Events.

  • Develop strong, trusting relationships with program leads & demand generation teams.

  • Maintains a clear schedule of work and is able to highlight resource constraints and suggest options to deliver to plan.
