SGI Global is seeking a qualified Corrections Advisor to support the Government of Panama as part of the Central America Regional Security Initiative (CARSI). The CARSI Initiative, one of the largest and most sophisticated multi-lateral security efforts in the world, provides funding for the USG to assist the governments of the CARSI countries with police professionalization, justice sector reform, counter narcotics efforts, border security management, crime and violence prevention, and anti-corruption efforts.

Qualifications
U.S. Citizen, TCN, or LN, MRPT certification or RSO Clearance for foreign nationals
Bachelor's or higher degree from an accredited college or university in any field with preference given to degrees in criminal justice, social sciences, accounting, or communications
FSI Level 3/3 English, FSI Level 3/3 Spanish
Rank of associate/deputy warden (or equivalent or higher)
Graduate of a U.S. federal or state corrections or probation officer academy certified by a POST commission or equivalent, and of at least 120 hours in length
Two (2) years of managerial and supervisory experience as a Deputy Warden or Warden (or equivalent)
One (1) year of experience working on international corrections issues preferred, working overseas preferred, experience working or coordinating with other relevant U.S. government agencies (e.g., Departments of Justice, Defense, DEA and/or USAID) preferred.
