Oracle Principal Regulatory Compliance Specialist in Romania

Job Description

Our SaaS Compliance team is seeking a Principal Regulatory Compliance Specialist to focus on the needs of our commercial customers and collaborate with all parts of our business, examining business processes and internal controls with an eye for improving effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance. You will share your experience and great ideas to help enhance the ways SaaS Compliance is managed, enabling win-win solutions to business challenges. We manage and facilitate compliance for our regions by:

  • Working with key stakeholders to gather and understand all requirements

  • Keeping a detailed knowledge of the Oracle Cloud environment and ongoing changes

  • Understanding and accounting for cost drivers to produce effective solutions

  • Leveraging extensive technical, security, and compliance knowledge in solution development

  • Maintaining relationships with key technical points of contacts within Oracle that provide audit information.

  • Working with control owners to provide accurate information back to the third party auditors.

  • Upon completion, enable different teams access to collateral to better enable the business.

Responsibilities

We expect the individual to perform the following functions:

  • Manage and maintain regional certifications / attestations for SaaS.

  • Define, agree, and coordinate audit activities on an annual basis through to resolution of any findings.

  • Conduct peer reviews and assist in the generation of new policy, processes, or documentation as and when required

  • Perform and document process walkthroughs, design and execute test procedures to ensure compliance to frameworks

  • Develop ongoing relationships with business stakeholders, advising process owners about control or process enhancements

  • Conduct process walkthroughs and identify key risks

  • Participate in control deficiency remediation activities

  • Work closely with and support the Sales

  • Provide reporting and status updates for senior management

  • Understand the products and services offered out of Oracle SaaS

  • Conduct reviews on Oracle’s position against new regulations/standards coming up by using applicable information available, assessing the current compliance level for each control

  • Provide guidance for questions that commercial customers may ask during the sales cycle and annually as part of their assurance process

It’s preferred, but not required, that you have:

  • A degree focused on Computer Science, Engineering or Business Administration

  • ISO 27001 LA / LI, CCSP, CCSK, CCAK, CISA, CISM, CISSP or related certifications/training

  • As this role will cover some of the France region any experience with ANSSI compliance would be beneficial

  • Hands-on experience or knowledge on general EU and/or EU member state national regulations impacting Information Technology firms, specifically cloud providers.
