Job Responsibilities:

The IRMD Privileged Access Governance Lead oversees and ensures that key activities in the department relating to Privileged ID Access Control and Security Monitoring are delivered in order to mitigate IT risk to the Bank; This role also seeks to strengthen policies and procedures for the Asia region, to ensure that the function is in compliance with local regulations and MUFG’s internal guidelines.

Privileged Access Governance Functions

  • Develop and maintain a robust and compliant Privileged ID and Access controls and procedures for the region.

  • Develop and maintain Privileged ID and User Access Matrix (UAM) and applications forms.

  • Subject matter expert for Privileged ID and access management and security log monitoring.

  • Perform impact analysis on IT access control to support any re-structuring changes in the Branch.

  • Perform security assessment reviews on new systems and enhancements to ensure relevant security controls, relating to access control and audit trails are in place.

  • Develop recommendations for continuous improvement and support implementation.

  • Support and facilitate audit activities related to Identity and Privileged Access Management.

  • Adhere to all company policies as well as guidelines.

  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing for new systems & enhancements.

  • Support regional Identity Access Management (IAMS) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) implementation / enhancement for branch improvement initiatives.

  • Maintain PAM access policy, processes & workflows and systems

  • Support and respond to Privileged ID/PAM and IAM system enquiries.

  • Collaborate with other teams to eliminate security threat / resolve security incidents as detected.

  • Stay abreast of the industry information security trends, security threat environment, risk trends, technology developments and relevant laws and regulations.

Customer

  • Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders both within MUFG and externally.

  • Work in partnership with various departments to support the implementation of global, regional and local projects, providing advisory for Privileged ID and access control.

  • Work in partnership with head office, regional offices, branches and vendors to enhance regional policies & frameworks and drive technology for Privileged ID and access control initiatives.

  • Work with colleagues in the region to share knowledge, regional initiatives and best practice user & privileges access control improvement.

  • Respond to questions or reporting requirements from local authorities as required.

  • Ensure timely escalation, resolution and closures of tickets are performed within SLAs.

People

  • Lead, support, coach and guide less experienced team members.

  • Act as a role model to team members and adhere to all company policies / guidelines.

  • Responsible for assisting Manager to manage (objective setting & performance management), developing (coaching, career progression & training) for direct reports.

  • Act as Deputy during Manager’s absence.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in applying industry best practices for Privileged Identity and Access Management, utilizing respective process, tools and technology to secure access to organization resources.

  • Experience in Privileged ID life cycle management (authentication, authorization, provisioning, de-provisioning and recertification) and monitoring with experience in ISSP and local regulations that govern the access control domain.

  • Experience with Privileged Identity Management solutions such as Cyberark, BeyondTrust, Delinea.

  • Experience with SIEM monitoring solutions such as Splunk will be added advantage.

  • Desirable to have 2+ years of team leadership experience and work experiences in Identity Access Management domain and compliance regulations, such as MAS TRMG.

  • Prior experience or exposure to the banking or finance industry, with good understanding of corporate banking products and services preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior management, Heads of department, technical managers and other key stakeholders.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate with Head Office, regional and branch offices.

  • Self-driven and independent, with good attention to detail and quality.

  • Willing to take on new tasks and initiatives to contribute towards continuous improvement.
