Position Overview:
The Senior Cyber Operations Technical Analyst will be the part of the Global IT Security team and manage complex IT Security problems by taking a broad perspective to identify innovative technical solutions. This role will be responsible for managing our vendors to achieve the desired results including quality and on-time delivery and broad range of security tasks, including the day-to-day security administration of network security devices, as well as the management of technologies.
Key responsibilities include:
Creating and modifying procedural documentation as needed
Managing intrusion detection and perimeter security devices
Assisting with vulnerability management
Participating in design and implementation of new security controls
Investigating and following up on incident reports
Executing effective security and malware protection
Managing and responding to information security audits
Ensuring that all information systems operate in accordance to set standards
Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Unit/Strategic Support Unit and the Company
What are we looking for?
BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Job related experience for minimum 6years in a cyber-security operations environment and proven technical leadershipexperience
CISSP, CISM, CISA certifications preferred and other security relevant certifications considered (e.g. SANS GIAC-GSEC, GCED, GCFW, GCIA, GCIH, GISP, GSLC)
Knowledge of CISCO ASA solutions specifically remote accessand network infrastructure
Technical hands-on proficiency with at least three security-related systems and applications (Vulnerability software, next generation firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, Data Loss Prevention)
Technical proficiency with security-related systems and applications, Vulnerability Scanners, SIEM, and anti-malware tools
Fluent English
