Job Title 12-Month Intern, Global Product Development – Kiehl’s DMI
Division: Luxury Product Division

Reports To: AVP – Global Product Development – Kiehls DMI

What You Will Learn:
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Support AVP with development of new products, reforms and/or renovated formulas
Help coordinate / liaise with R&I as needed
Pulling together trends from Mintel, WGSN etc. to support new development
Help support with Marketing book needs
Helps review Core formulas submissions, new innovations, reforms and reanimations
Help support creation of “ top claims” documents for new launches
Help create reanimation claim stories to support marketing
Other tasks as needed
COMPETITIVE SUPPORT
Support CORE Lead with competitive research as needed
Create monthly new launch tracker with new launches and support in issuing the newsletter
Support team with competitive purchasing as requested
Update PD team on product, consumer, social trends in weekly or bi/weekly PD statuses
Floor testing and capturing peoples’ feedback on formulas as requested
PD LEAD FOR SAMPLING PROGRAMS
Coordinate logistics and delivery of sample programs: Logibook samples, PR samples, meeting samples (SAM, WWM, K25 etc.)
Submit bulk requests to R&I
Submit PR sample quantity requests with Communications/PR team including coordinating with PR coordinator weekly to capture and share updates
Submit component requests to Development and attend all DMI/Development status meetings to capture updates and relay to larger team if needed
Ensure all programs are accounted for and on time per the standard sampling timeline
Work with Project Manager per project to troubleshoot issues as they arise and to share updates
Coordinate shipping Logibook samples to international markets
Coordinate the ordering and delivery of PR samples to PR team
PD TEAM ADMIN SUPPORT
Independently create and issue recap notes for PD led meetings
UPS: Ship and create label invoices for international packages
Meeting prep (booking rooms, setting up trays, issuing meeting notes, purchasing baby wipes and keeping meeting trays stocked)
Shipping, messenger setup, packing out shipments as needed
Support team AVP as needed
Birthday and special events support/coordinating with consultant
Create IT and General Services tickets as needed
What We Are Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree completed within the last 12 months
Legally authorized to work in the US on a fulltime, permanent, and ongoing basis without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional writing skills; experience with copywriting a plus
Able to be resourceful and solution oriented
Strong attention to detail and ability to work within brand aesthetic and tone of voice
Have a go-getter attitude

Salary: $ 28.50/h
