Job Description:

H&E Rentals is hiring a proactive and detail-oriented Application Administrator to oversee the implementation and maintenance of our critical IT platform applications. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional development teams and key business stakeholders to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of our applications, as well as the quality of software releases.

Key Responsibilities:

Implementation & Deployment

  • Partner with development teams and product owners during the design and testing phases of system changes.

  • Execute deployments, upgrades, and other system modifications efficiently.

Monitoring & Support

  • Conduct daily monitoring of key applications, including third-party integrations.

  • Troubleshoot application issues reported by users or monitoring tools, collaborating with developers and business owners to propose and implement effective solutions.

  • Develop and maintain monitoring metrics and system alerts within relevant tools.

Release Management

  • Review implementation plans and release documentation to ensure compliance with established procedures.

  • Coordinate releases and deployments in partnership with product owners and development teams.

Application Administration

  • Configure, manage, and maintain key applications to maximize usability and system availability (PaaS, IaaS, SaaS).

  • Assist in managing vendor relationships to ensure optimal performance and support.

  • Keep application administration and CI/CD documentation up to date.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; relevant experience in information technology may substitute for formal education.

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an Application Administrator or Implementation Specialist is essential.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is required.

  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps or other CI/CD tools is a plus.
