Position Overview

The AVP, Customer Account Management will lead a dynamic team of approximately 40-50 individuals, including leaders and individual contributors, within a corporate tech SaaS environment. This role requires a seasoned leader with previous leadership experience and a proven track record of driving sales growth and customer satisfaction. The AVP will be responsible for expanding sales to current UKG customers, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring the successful utilization and revenue retention.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Expansion: Drive sales growth by expanding solutions and revenue to current UKG customer base.

  • Profitability: Manage profit and loss activity by maintaining desired profit margins, sales and spending budgets

  • Customer Relationship Management: Strengthen and expand customer relationships through regular face-to-face interactions, including attendance at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.

  • Industry Expertise: Utilize industry expertise to advise, consult, and support customers in the utilization and expansion of services.

  • Sales Forecasting: Provide detailed and accurate forecasting for the organization

  • Organizational Leadership: Drive long term success with a focus on coaching, development and building a high performing team. Create and foster a customer-first, employee-centric, highly engaged culture, leading by example through UKG’s values of United, Kind, and Growing

  • Risk Management: Develop and execute save plans in collaboration with appropriate teams if revenue risk is identified.

  • Data Management: Ensure Sales teams maintain accuracy of account contacts and sentiment in SFDC.

  • Pipeline Management: Conduct one on one’s and quarterly operational reviews for each of the sales teams to ensure pipeline activity, depth of product and industry knowledge, current and relevant sales strategies, and account reviews.

  • Employee Development: Provide Coaching and development opportunities to direct reports, and insights and recommendations for coaching and development for their direct reports

Who You Are

  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading leaders and individual contributors to success.

  • Sales Acumen: Strong sales and customer relationship management skills.

  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the tech SaaS industry and customer needs.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute strategic plans.

  • Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.

  • Event Management: Experience in participating in industry events and trade shows.

  • CRM Proficiency: Proficiency in using CRM tools, particularly SFDC.

  • Bachelors Degree: Bachelors Degree or advanced degree.

  • Certifications: Relevant industry certifications.

  • Travel: Willingness to travel as required for customer meetings and industry events.

  • Work Environment: Hybrid work environment with a combination of remote and in-office work.

The pay target for this position is $185,000 base, however, base pay and commission plan offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
