As the Director, Global Supply Chain (GSC) Transformation, Innovation & Network you will lead end-to-end GSC transformation opportunity and network strategy ideation, scenarios, modeling, network KPIs, and business case development in collaboration with functions, regions, and OU leadership. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and innovative solutions to ensure a competitive advantage and meet the evolving demands of the business and customers.

A Day in the Life

As the Director, Global Supply Chain (GSC) Transformation, Innovation & Network, you will:

  • Develop and maintain Global Supply Chain’s transformational pipeline via ideation and partnership across all functions to transition for successful execution upon approved business case and funding

  • Lead global network governance (GNE) to ensure compliant, strategy-aligned, cost-effective changes to flow, mode, and node via collaboration and approvals from functional owners (i.e. regulatory, tax, trade, finance, planning, regions, manufacturing, sterilization, etc.)

  • Lead M&A design and integration for global supply chain, providing input into due diligence and designing the integration of systems and operations for compliance and synergies post-decision.

  • Define, develop the roadmap and business case, and implement GSC end-to-end Digital Control Tower bringing together E2E GSC functions for improved cost, service, sustainability, product availability, etc.

  • Lead Digital Twin for continuous end-to-end network optimization and monitoring of network KPIs, working with vendors, IT, and A&I teams to deliver the digital representation of the physical supply chain in order to identify, prescribe, and quantify end-to-end tradeoffs

  • For technology solutions within scope, manages vendors, IT, and A&I to deliver roadmap, implement, and maintain

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant Global Supply Chain experience with 7+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant Global Supply Chain experience with 7+ years of managerial experience in Network Design

Nice to Have:

  • 5+ years of proven success leading a team of individuals in a fast-paced, results-driven environment and effectively balancing multiple priorities and achieving deadlines

  • Proven track record for developing and delivering network strategy solutions and processes yielding double-digit annual inventory, distribution, and transportation savings.

  • Analytical mindset and knowledge of global, end-to-end supply chains and operations to solve complex, undefined problems

  • Requires broad management and leadership knowledge to lead multiple job areas, detailed supply chain knowledge on a global scale, and detailed functional and operational expertise

  • Experience strategizing and implementing Deliver – Network Strategy processes within a large, complex organization including integrating industry/market intelligence from different operating entities; distribution/transportation partners; functions; groups; regions; and customers to continuously improve competitive position.

  • Exceptional collaboration and team-building skills across a global organization to develop long-term strategic relationships and alliances with key internal and external stakeholders

  • Proven ability to interact and effectively communicate complex supply chain information with executive management and all levels of the organization related to network strategy changes and strategic initiatives

  • Strong interpersonal/collaborative skills including exceptional negotiation and facilitator skills to effectively influence and reach consensus, buy-in, commitment, and accountability to ensure process execution

  • Recognized supply chain/network strategy leadership capability with proven ability to drive accelerated results

  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to build credible relationships with multiple functions.

  • Advanced knowledge of Distribution & Network Design systems, technologies, and processes.

  • Technical acumen to partner with IT and technology

The provided base salary range is used nationally (except in certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
