HR Business Analyst
The HR Business Analyst, under the direction of the HR Leadership Team, is responsible for managing and maintaining data analytics, reporting and process management activities across the Human Resource function, which includes running an effective audit program, and providing oversight and insight into process improvement opportunities, and supporting the implementation of process changes. The HRBA will work directly with HR Process Owners with a focus on driving operational efficiency and effectively leveraging current and future technologies.
Role & Responsibilities
Explores best practice techniques for documenting and maintaining process maps for core HR processes
Collaborates with Process Owners in effectively mapping out foundational processes and functional requirements that will help onboard new HR professionals, educate all customers on the processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and enable implementation of new technology
Supports HR Leadership in gathering and prioritizing market insights, analyzing business data, KPIs, and other metrics, and providing strategic research to support effective decision-making and long-term planning
Works closely with Compensation and HRIS teams to ensure data is accessible and accurate, working with IT and external partners as required to ensure the availability of meaningful and robust data
Seeks out opportunities to leverage Power BI, AI, and Automation to increase efficiency and produce stronger results
Understands how HR processes integrate with technology and serves as a liaison between functional and technology teams to make system changes and recommend enhancements
Develops and maintains working knowledge of all core HR processes and technologies to maintain a clear perspective on potential opportunities
Required Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Computer Science, Statistics or a related degree
Minimum of 5 years working directly with data, report-writing, Power BI, or comparable tools
Must be systems-savvy, and have experience working across different platforms and with relational processes and multiple data sets – Advanced Excel skills are necessary
Requires exceptional collaboration and influencing skills
Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse audience across all levels of the organization
Must have experience developing presentations based on collection and analysis of data, and delivering to senior-level audiences.
Must possess strong analytical skills, including the ability to gather, interpret, and understand business requirements
Must be self-motivated and operate under minimal supervision, be proactive, and have the ability to anticipate challenges and provide alternatives to support strong business outcomes
