Job Title: Production Equipment Engineer Job Function: To provide support on existing production equipment, new equipment, technology, and continuous improvement projects. Job Type: Direct Placement / Full Time Salary: up to $120K - comesurate with experience Client / Position Our client provides coatings that are applied to a variety of metals – including stainless steel, nitinol and silver-plated copper – and used in numerous applications like mandrels, pull wires, core wires, hypotubes, stylets and guidewires. They are committed to providing their customers with market-leading coated mandrels, wire and lubricious products that enable the manufacturing of innovative life-saving devices. The organization is growing which has created this new position. This position requires a knowledgeable engineer to work on existing production equipment, lead evalutation of new equipment, and will participate in continuous improvement projects. The ideal candidate thrives on working in a fast-paced, growing environment, and enjoys being hands on. Responsibilities:
Researches equipment and technology solutions and provides input technology roadmaps.
Leads new equipment projects, includes developing CERs, User Requirements, floor layout, overseeing FAT / SAT, equipment installation, and production start-up
Establishes PMs and spare parts list with equipment supplier and maintenance team
Collaborates with scheduling, supervisor/lead, and process engineer/technician on machine cycle times, capacity, and capabilities and consulted on machine issues, troubleshooting, & resolution
Participates in continuous improvement projects which are designed to optimizes and standardize equipment and related output

Required Qualifications
Hands on machine and manufacturing experience
Practical Six Sigma & Lean Knowledge

Education & Certifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
