Job Summary
Performs professional work coordinating various programs supporting County operations.
Essential Functions
• Plans and develops training and development programs for business unit employees; identifies training and development needs by using needs assessments; develops comprehensive training plans to meet identified needs.
• Responsible for designing/processing/updating business unit software programs reports and job aids such as standard operating procedure documents as required.
• Prioritizes, schedules, and coordinates training which will support the comprehensive training and development plans. Identifies training resources, including in-house trainers, local training facilities and institutions, videos, manuals, automated tutorial programs, etc.
• Designs, plans, and delivers training to business unit employees including technological training and business unit-specific training; coordinates with the Human Resources staff to schedule organizational training when the need is identified, such as the County’s Practices and Procedures and the County’s Standards of Conduct and Code of Ethics.
• Ensures all newly hired business unit employees attend all county-mandated training programs and complete all required NIMS training.
Minimum Qualifications
• Associate degree required.
• Three (3) years of related experience.
• Candidates without a degree should possess two (2) additional years of related experience.
• Fingerprinting required.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License with any applicable endorsement(s) to drive a County vehicle as provided in CMA 5805.

Salary offers above the minimum pay grade may be considered based on qualifications.
Essential Employees may be required to work during an undeclared or declared emergency. The County’s Administrative Office will determine who will be required to work on an incident-by-incident basis.
