ICONMA, LLC Program Manager (Market Risk or Global Markets middle/back office) in United States

Description:

  • Client is looking for a Program Manager who has prior experience in Market Risk or Global Markets middle/back office technology.

  • This is a multi-disciplinary role that will require the successful candidate to take on numerous diverse responsibilities and will necessitate close partnership with senior business and technology managers.

  • The ideal candidate will have a background in working closely with development teams.

  • A program manager is expected to have a broad understanding of all the projects within the program and be able to ensure timelines and milestones are met.

  • Identify risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies (RAID) and proactively manage/reporting RAIDs.

  • Review and/or publish the weekly status report for the program

  • Consistently meet with project managers to understand progress and issues across projects and provide support as necessary

  • Be responsible for weekly status reporting and preparing materials to present to stakeholders

  • Strong project management and organization skills, attention to details.

  • Familiarity with principles of scaled agile delivery, PI planning, and agile scrum methodology

  • Ability to remove obstacles and influence others to move projects forward.

  • Strong financial markets product knowledge, market risk experience (any asset class).

  • Excellent technical skills; SQL, MS Excel, Jira, MS Project, SharePoint, Visio, MS PowerPoint, MS Word.

  • Computer Engineering/Financial Degree

  • Experience with Agile methodologies.

  • Experience with VaR, Risk Analytics would be a definite advantage

  • Exposure to financial / product control functions within a bank.

  • Exposure to Program Project Risk Tool (PPRT)
