Overview/Purpose:

The Project Coordinator/Analyst role in the MVH Commercial organization is crucial for optimizing project delivery and facilitating effective change management. This position not only ensures that commercial projects align with strategic goals but also provides practical training on PMO processes and templates, empowering teams with the tools and knowledge necessary for successful implementation. Through this dual focus, the role significantly contributes to the organization's agility and sustained excellence in veterinary health care services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.

  • Project Coordination: Assist in the planning, execution, and closure of projects within the commercial team, ensuring alignment with MVH’s strategic goals.

  • Change Management Support: Provide practical training and support on change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption of new processes.

  • Template and Tool Implementation: Educate through integration of PMO process templates and other project management tools to ensure consistent project management practices across the organization.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective communication between project teams, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure transparency and alignment.

  • Training Delivery: Conduct and oversee training sessions on PMO processes and change management best practices for project teams.

  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on project progress against timelines, deliverables, and performance metrics.

  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks in project execution and contribute to the development of mitigation strategies.

  • Documentation Management: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, reports, and stakeholder feedback.

  • Continuous Improvement: Analyze project outcomes and incorporate lessons learned into future project and change management endeavors

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.

  • 2-3 years of experience in a project coordination or analysis role.

  • Experience in change management initiatives within a corporate setting.

  • Familiarity with project management principles, methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), and best practices.

  • Understanding of change management strategies and frameworks.

  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., , Monday.com, Wrike, Smartsheet, Trello) and MS Office Suite.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to facilitate training and present information clearly.

  • Ability to work in both standard and remote office setting with prolonged periods of sitting and operation of standard office equipment such as a computer.

  • Capability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Mental concentration on detailed tasks, while handling interruptions and adjusting priorities throughout the day.

  • Must be able to engage in frequent communication including written, verbal, and virtual collaboration.

  • Physical ability to occasionally lift materials up to 25 pounds may be required.

  • Ability to move within the office and occasionally travel to other office locations for meetings or training sessions.

  • The role of a Project Coordinator/Analyst is mostly cognitive, requiring mental agility, continuous learning, and the application of knowledge in a dynamic work environment. Physical demands are typical of an office role but can include the need for mobility and occasional physical effort related to organizational tasks.

    Preferred:

  • Professional certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) or Change Management (e.g., Prosci, CCMP) is highly desirable.

  • Knowledge of the veterinary health industry and commercial operations is a plus.

  • Prior experience in a (veterinary) healthcare or related industry is beneficial.
