Job Overview for Recruiter: Dedicated to the recruiting process for all of King’s Seafood Company. In support of Operations and growth, to be the face of King’s with the ability and desire to share our story with all people. A strong networker/sourcer in the hospitality industry that is driven and fueled by meeting new people, connecting people with opportunities, and strategically moving the company towards being “the” employer of choice. Having candid conversations with potential leaders about what they will gain by committing to King’s and being vigilant about searching for achievement driven, intelligent, passionate people who are looking to better themselves. Contract/agency recruiters need not reply/apply unless you are looking to make the move to full-time, in-house, talent acquisition. Hybrid or remote work will be considered, but must be located in Orange County or Los Angeles County, CA. For clarity, driving to the office in Costa Mesa will be required multiple times per month--we are not considering any out of state or out or Southern California candidates unless there are plans to relocate (please address this in your cover letter).

Essential Job Functions for Recruiter:

  • Lead the selection and hiring process as a business. Have ownership of the steps and influence others in doing the right work

  • Support the growth and movements of operations and home office

  • Network/source 24/7 to create a pipeline of people who are excited to work for King’s

  • Strategically think about better ways to attract new candidates from similar industries, different generations, diverse backgrounds, and social media

  • Be driven by results and passionate about analyzing the data to make better, more efficient decision making

  • Update and train on the proper interview standards. Uphold the standards and not shy away from coaching when appropriate to ensure the validity of the process

  • Expert in sourcing and seeing new opportunities to connect with people outside our company and industry

  • Be the internal cheerleader for recruiting incentives and internal promotions

  • Quarterly reporting on TA metrics and strategy to meet goals

  • Be the resource for operations in supporting all TA software (Hirebridge, Equifax, I9Express, ESS)

  • Maintain/Update weekly TA Reports (People Power) and Organizational Chart on Portal

  • Lead the onboarding process and be the first impression for King’s Seafood Company for all new hires

Essential Qualifications for the Recruiter:

  1. Strong networker/online sourcer

  2. Achievement driven

  3. 3 + years of full-cycle recruiting experience

  4. Familiarity with a variety of hospitality concepts, practices, and procedures

  5. College Degree preferred

  6. Proficient in Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  7. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  8. Continuous learner

  9. Detail Oriented

  10. Critical/strategic thinker
