Senior Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning Analyst

The Sales, Inventory, & Operations Planning (SIOP) Senior Analyst has a variety of important responsibilities necessary to support the execution of Allegion’s sales and operations planning process. This role will provide hands on execution and influence to drive SIOP effectiveness and increased engagement across the business resulting in improved customer experience and cash flow.

What You Will Do:

  • Support and enable the Allegion standardized SIOP process to optimize the utilization of business resources, minimize working capital, maximize cash flow, and exceed customer’s expectations for delivery.

  • Drive monthly SIOP process: preparation, action plans, issue resolution, and escalations through effective stakeholder alignment and change management techniques.

  • Overall ownership of data integrity for forecasting. Collaborate with the IT functional & Global Data Analytics teams to identify and implement new systems/applications that improve SIOP accuracy, capability, and reliability.

  • Maintain the appropriate demand structure (product family, product codes, etc) and establish their data relationship linkages.

  • Deliver a 12-24 month rolling unit and dollar consensus forecast monthly.

  • Execute monthly forecast creation process using Allegion forecasting software (Demantra)

  • Ensure the preparation and facilitation of Demand, Partnership and Executive SIOP review meetings.

  • Collaborate and engage Sales, Marketing, and Product Management to develop the demand plan using historical orders, market indicators, POS, promos and other Customer inputs where available.

  • Identify & develop leading indicators that enable visibility to short- and long-term market trends and demand.

  • Develop a process for early communication, planning, and execution of product lifecycle management activities, project-based large orders and promotions.

  • Collaborate with Operations, Materials Management and Global Supply Management that the supply plan is developed in alignment with the overall demand plan.

  • Collaborate with Finance to ensure alignment and reconciliation between the SIOP forecast and financial forecast.

  • Understand and update monthly tracking of Key Performance Indicators actively seek to drive results and continuous improvement.

  • Champion opportunities to improve SIOP maturity and continuous improvement by utilizing Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies. Lead and participate in Operational Excellence activities including Value Stream Mapping and Rapid Improvement Events.

  • Percentage of Travel: 25%

What You Need to Succeed:

  • BA / BS degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or similar field, MBA preferred.

  • 8+ years demand or supply forecasting and/or planning experience required.

  • 3+ years’ experience in a CPG company required.

  • Computer: High level proficiency in Microsoft Office with heavy emphasis on Excel, statistical forecast packages and Power BI.

  • Experience in interacting with Wholesale & Dealer customer channels and knowledge of project-based business models and experience in CPG with knowledge of Retail/E-Commerce preferred.

  • APICS Certification (CPIM, CPM, or CSCP) preferred.

  • Demonstrated success in executing and improving a sales and operations process.

  • Working knowledge of Forecasting applications, data warehousing, BI tools and ERP systems

  • Demonstrated problem solving analytical skills.: Uses data analysis to help predict problem areas and identify areas of opportunity.

  • Individual must possess excellent oral and written communication skills to interact up and down the organization and informally influence process participants.

  • Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and the effective implementation of operational excellence tools and techniques
