Jack Henry and Associates is seeking a Gladiator Implementation Engineer that will work with the Gladiator Network Services team. This team helps financial institutions design, implement, support, and manage an expansive portfolio of information technology. In this role, you will implement an expansive portfolio of information technology solutions including Hosted Network Solutions, Unified Communications, Storage and Virtualization, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure. This individual must be comfortable speaking with all roles of a customers’ organization IT staff and Business leaders, and bring a flexible, friendly, focused, customer attitude. This individual will be working with a Team of 10 highly skilled and professional engineers that are located across the country.

This position will be filled to work Remotely with in the U.S.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Work with Project Team to migrate customer environment into the Jack Henry Hosted environment.

  • Data copy/migration.

  • Build hosted servers and work with Jack Henry application teams for installation/configuration.

  • Build Virtual Desktop Parent with required applications, group policy optimization, user productivity tools, etc.

  • End User Compute / Virtual Desktop training, documentation and support throughout migration until customer accepts new environment.

  • Decommission old environment.

  • Hand off to Support and Operations team.

  • Facilitate backup configuration.

  • Confirm vulnerability status and provide executive summary to customer.

  • Assists and mentors less experienced peers. Acts as a team lead.

  • May perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need to have:

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in design, planning, implementing and migrating enterprise wide infrastructure.

  • Systems Administration Experience with Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022.

  • Desktop Deployment Experience with Windows 10/11.

  • Travel up to 30% is required for onsite design and implementations at customer sites.

  • Relevant certifications:

  • VMware: Vmware Certified Professional 2022

  • Microsoft: M365 Certified: Fundamentals, Security, Teams

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
