The Regional Precision Medicine Strategy Associate Director will have responsibility for designing & executing Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine’s Asia Pacific Precision Medicine (PM) strategy, in collaboration with key cross-functional stakeholders of the Global and Asia Pacific Organisation. The successful candidate should ideally have extensive pharma and diagnostic experience, be a strong leader with excellent communication and collaboration skills, and be able to translate the commercial PM strategy into execution for our portfolio and pipeline.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary responsibilities for this leadership position will include but not limited to:
Lead the design & implementation of Regional Commercial Diagnostic strategy in key AP markets
Provide commercial diagnostics expertise & guidance for XFT’s with a strong focus on preparing launch readiness for CDx testing
Develop & implement plans for successful launches of Diagnostic programs, by facilitating seamless access to testing at OpCo level that supports the applicable brand strategies including exploration of innovative strategies to support CDx demand and uptake
Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with all pathological scientific communities and key AP Reference centers
Ensure clear Guidance recommendations for defined testing targets are included in the patient treatment algorithms. Ensure the inclusion of defined testing targets within local and regional Scientific Guidelines
Alongside XFT build a competitive advantage, both current & future, by understanding & addressing key customers’ needs, & demonstrating deep understanding of competitors’ commercial strategies
Lead commercial evaluation of diagnostics platforms, actively support and partner with Market Access policy to seek effective partnerships with government partners, public/private labs, & industries to support our commercial diagnostic strategy
Establish regional SFE KPIs & monitoring for tests, that cover, but not limited to: availability and quality of testing, percentage of targeted patient population being tested, time to results and testing to therapy ratio
Contribute to building internal capabilities required for long-term success in precision medicine
Develop internal & external customer relationships that successfully drive business objectives.
Establish a productive work environment by creating trust & respect within all Therapeutic Areas (TAs).

Qualifications
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Experience in diagnostics commercialization required.
Marketing experience in Oncology strongly preferred.
Product launch experience preferred
Commercial and/or access experience in pharma preferred
Ability to work in highly matrixed environment & leading by influence required
Strong executive presence & leadership skills are required
Strong communication & negotiating skills required
Strong analytical skills to understand scientific & financial data, recognize key issues & establish business priorities
