Maxim Healthcare is hiring for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients. Recent LVN grad?
The Novice Nurse Training Program at Maxim Healthcare Services is designed to provide a unique training opportunity for new grad LPN/LVNs, and those with less than one year of experience. You'll partner with an experienced Maxim nurse who will provide real-time feedback, training opportunities, and mentorship.
Within this program, you will be gaining hands-on experience by working 1-on-1 with a patient within the home setting. You will have the opportunity to learn direct patient care, Gtube/Trach/Vent management, and critical thinking skills with the 24/7 support of the clinical supervising team.
Hours: AM - PM - NOC shifts
Pay: $28 - 35 per hour
MUST have LVN license in order to apply, hands on training is provided.
$500 bonus is offered after 30 billable work shifts and must work a minimum of 3 days a week. A $250 is also offered for any referrals.

Responsibilities:
Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
Qualifications:
Currently licensed as an LVN in the state in which the LVN will practice.
Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
Current BLS card.
