Aerotek RF Test Technician in Vista, California

Description:

  • 90% of the time they will be tuning the filters

  • 10% of the time will be preforming rework. (Will train on rework if candidate doesn't have too much exp.)

  • Will be preforming rework on filters that did not pass inspection.

  • Use Network Analyzers to test RF Signals.

  • Minor soldering (SM 96 and SM 62); Solder on the box of the product (housing) not on the actual PC board itself.

  • Able to read drawings and layouts of the product. (Will train on specific metrics)

  • Will be using test equipment and tuning sticks; mainly will be using Network Analyzers.

  • Minor Troubleshooting

  • Will be working with smaller parts (requires microscope)

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience working on RF filters or other pieces of RF equipment.

  • Experience using testing equipment (Huge plus if they've used Network Analyzers)

  • 1 - 2 years of experience

  • RF filter experience

  • Communicate in English

  • Good hand dexterity and attention to detail

  • SMT soldering is a plus, but not required.

  • Microscope experience (not a must have, but will be using a microscope for a majority of the day)
