ABOUT THE TEAM
Meet the EPPM (Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management) team within the Release & Portfolio Management Tools .
The Tools Team is an internal service delivery and software development area responsible for defining, designing, and implementing the applications that support the entire product development organization in their daily work. You will be part of an international team working with international SAP internal customers.
EPPM is our central system to plan and track solution portfolio investments from both, a R&D cost/capacity and GTM revenue perspective. It serves as a key data source for strategic and operational planning - from operational Line of Business (LoB) level up to strategic board level.
THE ROLE
As a work student in the EPPM Team your role will be to support the Team mainly in maintaining the data in EPPM Tool.
Programming modern object-oriented ABAP using the OData model, CDS views and Fiori Elements
Technical changes and assignment of planning objects in the SAP Portfolio structure
Maintain master data of Logical Products.
Assignment of initiatives and portfolio items to Logical products
Administrating the technical objects in Product and Production Management System (PPMS)
Supporting to organize the EPPM community calls
Administrating the EPPM Channel in the SAP Media Share

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
Preferred fields of study: Information Systems, Business Administration, Business Management, IT-Management, or a related course of study
Basic programming skills in ABAP and JavaScript or TypeScript would be beneficial
Computer skills: good knowledge of MS Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel, Teams, SharePoint would be a plus)
Language skills: fluent in English and German
Soft skills: proactive and self-motivated with a desire to learn and take on new challenges, strong team working skills, ability to understand technical topics and convey them in a structured way.
Others: general interest for information technology
This is an SAP global, strategic, paid working student position that provides students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers.
