We have an immediate opening for a Safety and Security Associate in our Warminster facility. We offer competitive compensation, benefits, and paid time off. The rate of pay will be commensurate with experience level.
Job Summary
The Safety & Security Associate will c oordinate the safety and security programs to promote and ensure a safe working environment.
Responsibilities
Evaluates the effectiveness of safety and security programs and collaborates with management to develop, modify, and implement safety and security policies and procedures.
Be a visible deterrent; stops operations and activities that could harm staff or assets
Conducts regular physical patrols of the facility.
Monitor surveillance cameras for suspicious activities and monitor all security equipment including metal detector, two way radios, and other equipment
Identifies potential threats to physical security, employee safety, and asset protection and communicate to the appropriate parties
Enforces of all health, safety, and security protocols; declines entry of any individual who refuses to submit to or comply with company protocols
Identifies opportunities to minimize workplace injuries, accidents, and health problems.
Monitors and responds to emergency situations in a timely manner; Contacts and communicates with the appropriate authorities
Submits recommendations for improvements and additions to the safety and security program including emergency preparedness, accident prevention, facility security, and general safety.
Maintain records and logs; complete daily reports of observations, incidents and surveillance activity
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Current AED, CPR and First Aid certification
Excellent verbal communication skills
Knowledge of company safety policies and applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
Excellent observational skills and attention to detail
Ability to maintain effective working relationships and develop partnerships
Protect and maintain confidential information
Adhere to all company service and operating standards
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
