Job Title: Facility Operations Manager
Job Description
Candidates will plan, manage, and guide multiple contracted services to meet operating and financial goals, client objectives, and customer needs. They will oversee union trades workers and housekeepers at the Warren Tech Center for the design building. The trades workers handle repairs on HVAC, plumbing, millwright, painting, and electrical systems. The housekeepers run floor machines, clean common areas, restrooms, and maintain the building's cleanliness. Strong quality control skills are required to identify problem areas and implement appropriate repairs or cleaning methods.
Responsibilities
Plan and manage multiple contracted services to meet financial and operational goals.
Oversee union trades workers performing HVAC, plumbing, millwright, painting, and electrical repairs.
Supervise housekeepers responsible for running floor machines, cleaning common areas, and maintaining restrooms.
Ensure strong quality control to identify problem areas and make necessary repairs or adjustments to cleaning methods.
Hold trades workers and supervisors accountable, manage scheduling, and oversee parts ordering.
Provide excellent customer service.
Essential Skills
5+ years of facilities or operations management experience, leading trades workers and housekeepers.
Strong knowledge of facility maintenance, services, or construction.
Leadership or supervision experience, including scheduling and parts ordering.
Excellent customer service skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Facility maintenance expertise.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $40.87/hr.
