Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
The maintenance technicians in this plant are responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting seating equipment
The majority of the troubleshooting involves maintaining electrical components to ensure the JIT (just in time) facility operates smoothly, preventing any production stoppages
Technicians will also read schematics, troubleshoot electrical components up to 480V and 3-phase motors, use testing equipment, and work with mini boilers
They are assigned to various zones on the plant floor, working alongside seat assemblers to ensure equipment efficiency
Additionally, they assist with facilities maintenance around the building
Responsibilities
Maintain and troubleshoot seating equipment
Read schematics and troubleshoot electrical components up to 480V and 3-phase motors
Use testing equipment and work with mini boilers
Ensure the JIT facility operates smoothly to prevent production stoppages
Work in assigned zones on the plant floor alongside seat assemblers to ensure equipment efficiency
Assist with facilities maintenance around the building
Essential Skills
5+ years of automotive maintenance experience
3+ years of experience working in a JIT facility
Electrical troubleshooting, including rebuilding wires/cables and working with electrical circuits
Mechanical ability, including working with conveyors, sensors, and motor swaps
Pneumatics troubleshooting
Ability to read schematic prints
Prioritize safety by understanding and utilizing lock-out/tag-out procedures
Shifts
- Openings on 2nd and 3rd shift
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
