Aston Carter Project Accountant in Warrenville, Illinois

Description:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements

  • Ensure accuracy and monitor compliance with accounting standards

  • Develop and manage budgets

  • Allocate tasks and responsibilities among team members

  • Work with auditors to provide necessary documentation

  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and updated in advancements in financial technology

  • Collaborate and delegate tasks for the Corporate Controller, leaders, and management

  • Assist in managing the accounting team

  • Assist with the day-to-day accounting procedures

  • Manage revenue recognition for all projects including fixed price/lump sum

  • Perform the month-end close-the-books process

  • Communicate financial information to various stakeholders

  • Collaborate with other departments for financial planning

  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must have experience in Engineering/Construction industry

  • 3+ years in Project Accounting experience

  • Del Tek vision software is a plus

Experience Level:

  • Intermediate Level

Work Environment:

  • Primarily remote, will be required to go into Lisle office as needed.
