Citigroup Facilities Management Group Manager (Hybrid) in Warsaw, Poland

Role Overview:

The Facilities Management Sub Region Group Manager is accountable for management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas. Leads and directs a team of professionals. Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/ geographic regions. Full management responsibility of a team or multiple teams, including management of people, budget and planning, to include performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drives the Citi Realty Services (CRS) Vision Priorities and Real Estate optimization in the portfolio (Poland CSC and Ukraine), and the transformation of the supply chain through transactions, facilities management as well as projects

  • Oversees the managing the Real Estate function and the portfolio in Poland CSC and Ukraine to ensure optimum use of space, effective use of the lease contract options and effective disposal/sub-lease of excess/vacant space no longer required.

  • Evaluates industry future directions and relates to future needs and projects constituents or stakeholders.

  • Recommends transactions to improve the cost effectiveness of the portfolio and improve the utilization of existing space

  • Manage construction, renovation, Asset, Facility and Building Operations Management. Ensure proper management of architects, engineers, contractors, their legal contracts, performance, invoice payments and compliance with schedules.

  • Manage the outsourced service desk, the utility consumption and work closely with internal organizations including Technology, HR and Procurement as well as the regional sustainability team for environmental sustainability best practices,

  • Manage occupancy related system requirements with the Regional MIS team to ensure proper portfolio and metrics tracking Interactions.

  • Productive cooperation with and influencing of external as well as internal Stakeholders, conducting proactive Vendor Management and covering various procurement activity related to the Asset Management function and Financial Management.

  • Has full responsibility for the Profit and Loss (P&L) of the Portfolio (Poland CSC and Ukraine). Establishes and manages the financial budgets (expense and capital) of the Portfolio.

  • Ensure effective CRS control framework (MCA) implementation as well as compliance with legal, regulatory, safety and environmental agencies.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience

  • Real estate experience, with a senior position within a corporate real estate organization

  • Fundamental understanding of corporate real estate principles and proven ability to deliver sound real estate solutions

  • Comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function.

  • In-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. Commercial awareness is a necessity.

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills to negotiate internally and externally, often at a senior level.

  • Must be able to travel up to 10% per year.

Education:

  • Bachelors degree, potentially Masters degree
