Amazon Legal Counsel, CEE Operations in Warsaw, Poland

Description

We're looking for an exceptional lawyer to support Amazon's Operations group in the Central Eastern Europe region. Our work is intellectually challenging, exciting and fast-paced. As a Corporate Counsel supporting our rapidly growing operations teams in CEE, you will be responsible for structuring, drafting and negotiating different types of commercial contracts, providing sound and pragmatic advice to the business and solving complex problems.

The position is either based at our office in Munich, Germany or Warsaw, Poland.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Warsaw, POL

Basic Qualifications

  • Fully qualified lawyer in Poland with strong academic credentials

  • 7+ years of legal experience (at least 2 years at a law firm)

  • Fluent in Polish and English

Preferred Qualifications

  • A mix of corporate law firm and in-house experience is a plus

  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations

  • Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams

  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Strong analytical and computer skills

  • Common sense, great judgment, and a good sense of humor
