Area Sales Manager

(Potential Countries: Czech, Slovakia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine)

Job Summary:

The purpose of the role of Area Sales Manager is to coach dealers to improve their business performance. Responsibilities will include: guiding and training new and existing dealers to meet or exceed sales targets, promoting Thermo King products and services, pursuing prospects, leading negotiations and maintaining positive long-term relationships with dealers and end-customers.

Responsibilities:

· Implement the commercial strategy to ensure volume growth, increase market share and improve profitability

· Achieve equipment and aftermarket sales targets by partnering with a network of independent Dealers and provide guidance to them when needed.

· Implement and maintain a well-structured pipeline management process and report pipeline updates on a regular basis

· Support Dealers during customer visits, and conduct regular face-2-face review session to discuss overall business performance, sales pipeline, issue, etc.

· Key Account Management in alignment with the dealers

· Be a good ambassador of the Thermo King / Frigoblock brand and establish a strong link between ThermoKing and our Dealers and customers

· Contribute to the (long term) development of our Dealer network and support our Dealer Development team with the implementation of specific actions

Qualifications:

· Sales experience in the transport refrigeration, automotive or transport / logistics industry or vertical markets (e.g. pharmaceuticals, food & beverages, rental / leasing, etc.)

· Proven record of effectively meeting sales quotas, and identifying new growth opportunities within a designated territory

· Bachelor degree in the area of Sales & Marketing, Engineering with Sales experience or similar fields, Master degree or diploma would be of advantage

· Strong English language skills (both verbal and in writing)

· Proficient computer skills: Microsoft office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, good presentation skills

· Customer-Focused, positive attitude, results-driven, action-oriented

· Key Account Management skills

Travel: 60%
