Job Title: Program Director

Job Summary:

This position is in support of the Department of Justice (DOJ). The DOJ requires project management support in carrying out critical tasks related to an audit of the Bureau of Justice Assistance's (BJA's) Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA).

Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading, directing, and controlling the execution of tasks defined under this contract

  • Providing expert direction and guidance to subordinates

  • Developing schedules

  • Formulating work plans

  • Serving as point of contact for all work related to this contract with OJP/Government CORs/Task Monitors and/or customer personnel

    Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in criminal justice or a related field

  • 10+ years of work experience related to PREA implementation, including overseeing PREA audits and working with DOJ-certified PREA auditors

    Desired:

  • Master's degree in criminal justice or related field

    Work Setting and Environment:

  • Monday - Friday, normal working hours

  • Work is to be performed onsite at Office of Justice Programs (OJP) offices in Washington, DC

  • Telework may be authorized
