Title: Business Analyst - Nexstar Networks

Job Location: Washington D.C.

Reports to: Controller, The Hill

Job Summary:

Nexstar is looking for an experienced, dynamic, and passionate Business Administrator for the Network Segment with primary focus on The Hill business unit. The Business Administrator will plan, direct, and coordinate services of the business including accounts payable, general ledger activities and payroll.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handle monthly balance sheet reconciliations via Blackline software

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly journal entries

  • Handle accounts payable including invoice entry and approval tracking

  • Manage employee, union, and vendor contracts

  • Prepare and submit monthly purchase card reports to corporate office

  • Liaise with Senior Leadership and Corporate staff

  • Administer all bi-weekly payroll activities for 140 employees

    Requirements & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable

  • Excellent critical thinking, creative problem solving, and organization skills

  • Confident and assertive when providing coaching, guidance, or direction
