DSPolitical Business Development Coordinator in Washington, District Of Columbia

We’re looking for an ambitious candidate with a true interest in becoming a Business Development Coordinator. In this role, you’ll provide support to the Business Development Team, assist with day-to-day marketing tasks and serve as a liaison between departments.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:

  • Supports the business development team with day to day sales tasks.

  • Manages lead intake process by reviewing inbound leads, glean additional prospect information, and evaluates service offering applicability.

  • Assist with scheduling in-person and online demos/pitches.

  • Researches and assembles election cycle calendar. 

  • Develops and directs project management process for prospecting, including evaluation of federal, state, local financial disclosures in priority geographies. 

  • Maintain an accurate, organized Salesforce database.

  • Assist department proposal writing as needed.

  • Represents DSPolitical at conferences and networking events.

  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism. 

  • Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.

    Minimum Qualifications & Skill Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in progressive digital space.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.

  • Good understanding of politics and the background of political influencers.

  • Prior experience with Salesforce preferred.

  • Annual base salary range of $50,000 - $55,000 depending upon factors including, but not limited to, experience, skill level, education, and location.

    Office Hours

    This position is based out of our Washington, DC office. We work on a hybrid basis at our office locations with many team members working entirely from home. Work hours are consistently 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday - Friday, with the expectation that evening and weekend work will be required as necessary.
