Strategic Insight LTD Functional Program Analyst - Acquisition / Navy in Washington, District Of Columbia

Strategic Insight, Ltd. is seeking a Functional/Program Analyst to assist our US Navy client in policy, research, and budget support. The job is on-site at the Pentagon, supporting our team providing budget, manpower, administration, and Information Technology (IT) coordination.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Collect and review DON Acquisition Work Force (AWF) data for quality, analyze for trends or patterns to inform program assessment.

  • Compile, summarize, and format data for reporting purposes.

  • Configure metrics, analysis, charts, and slides for briefs and presentations.

  • Attend meetings and provide minutes for government approval.

  • Initiate, develop, draft, and submit DON instructions for the various nominative programs for government approval.

  • Plan and coordinate awards ceremonies.

  • Coordinate guest speakers for nominative training opportunities and events.

  • Coordinate nominative program participants to be guest speakers at other AWF events.

Success for working in this position requires:

  • Minimum 4 years acquisition experience with an emphasis on participating in research and development or program management within specified technical or operational areas to include requirements definition, specification, detailed design, design review, documentation and testing, analyzing cost schedule variances, interpreting statutes, regulations and policy statements.

  • Strong problem solving and strategic planning skills.

  • High degree of attention to detail and accuracy in completing assignments, including, proof reading, grammar, and analytical skills.

  • Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel), to include the ability to create spreadsheets, presentations, and prepare specialized reports.

  • Ability to effectively communicate and work with others at all levels, as a team member.

  • Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.

  • Self-starter, goal-oriented individual who provides timely feedback on progress made on assignments.

  • Excellent organizational skills; ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks, handle complex assignments, and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of a high school diploma but a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Mandatory Requirement: Applicants must have an active Interim Secret DoD clearance at a minimum, with final Secret preferred.
