The Marketing Strategy Associate Manager will oversee and lead marketing from inception to execution. This role will be responsible for managing a team to develop strategies and tailored approaches, launch campaigns, oversee a creative team executing photo/video production and/or development of brand/campaign assets, and report performance. Effective at people development and coaching junior team members to deliver exceptional work. Strong client relationship and presentation skills. You are entrepreneurial, flexible, empowering to team members, and comfortable collaborating with senior leadership.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Help oversee a team of strategists, media experts, creatives, and data scientists to direct a full-lifecycle marketing initiative.

  • Understand client objectives and tailor approaches and recommendations to focus on those objectives.

  • Effectively communicate strategies and tactics to clients for buy-in and approval. Lead client presentations and prepare team members to participate.

  • Direct robust discovery/research efforts to generate a data-driven marketing strategy.

  • Develop creative briefs, review and support creative asset development. If required, provide key oversight and attend photo/video production.

  • Communicate key objectives and budget to a media team, review and provide input to media plan.

  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and/or annual campaign performance reports in collaboration with all marketing workstreams and focused on key metrics and business drivers.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, create custom measurement and performance reports focusing on key metrics and business drivers.  

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, branding, and advertising, ideally in consulting or digital agency. 

  • 3+ years of collaborating with media and creative teams.  

  • Strong knowledge of marketing principles, strategy creation, campaign execution and management, content strategy, customer insights and marketing analytics.

  • Knowledge of emerging platforms/tactics.

  • Demonstrated ability to apply data/insights to strategy development and optimization.

  • Track record of managing teams, leading presentations, and reporting to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong verbal, written and analytical skills. 

  • Must be willing to travel up to 10% annually. and willing to work on client site as needed.

  • Must have an active Top Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous agency experience.

  • Previous federal experience.

  • Experience with employer branding and recruitment marketing.

  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding campaignobjectives. 

  • Articulate communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. 

  • Experience establishing and maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels, with both internal stakeholders and external partners. 

  • Ability to identify operational gaps/opportunities and implement solutions. 

  • Proven ability to conceptualize solutions and creatively problem-solve. 

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York or Washington state as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here. Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role 

California: $112,100 - $180,600

Colorado: $105,200 - $169,600

New York: $121,700 - $196,400

Washington: $112,100 - $180,600
