Summary
The Washington DC office of Squire Patton Boggs is seeking an Office Services Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Office Administrator, and with a high level of client service, the Office Services Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the office services department to include mailroom operations, supply and vendor management, reprographics management and general administrative support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversees the day-to-day operations of the office services department including mailroom operations, supply and vendor management, reprographics management and general administrative support.
- Schedules and monitors departmental workflow. Develops staff schedules and assignments to ensure proper departmental coverage is in place.
- Coordinates the training and employee development of all office services employees.
- Manages, trains, and motivate office services staff to maintain high levels of performance and service quality.
- Works with the Office Administrator to prepare and manage the office services budget.
- Orders and maintains inventory of office supplies, equipment, and other resources.
- Implements and enforces office policies and procedures in line with firm standards.
- Regularly reviews and optimizes processes for improved efficiency and service delivery.
- Supports the implementation of technological upgrades in office services operations.
- Regular attendance and timeliness are required, as well as physical presence at the office. This role requires schedule flexibility including evening and weekend hours to accommodate special projects that may arise.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position will supervise the office services staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Firm's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education And/or Experience
A minimum of three years' experience working directly in an office services environment. Prior experience managing a mail room operations center, managing vendor/supplier relationships and copy center services required. A minimum of three years of supervisory experience within a professional services setting; law firm experience strongly preferred. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on skills and experience.
