As a * * Strategic C ommunications Specialist , you will: 

  • Serve as the communications lead for a large-scale federal government client.

  • Oversee the creation, tracking, and evaluation of communications tasks, strategies, frameworks, and policies.

  • Guide strategic communications planning from start to finish, including measurement and evaluation .

  • Provide strategic and practical communications guidance to advance key initiatives.

  • Offer technical support across all communications-related deliverables (e.g., strategic communications plans, content creation, writingand editing, design services, multimedia, printing, web content, etc.)

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, or marketing

  • Five (5) years of experience managing strategic communications in a government or public sector setting

  • Five (5) years of experience in strategic planning, audience identification, engagement, and evaluation with measurable impact

  • Five (5) years of experience managing projects across different stakeholders, achieving specific outcomes within set deadlines

  • Able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance (federal government background check)

Preferred Skills and E xperience:

  • Experience working successfully in a team environment

  • Superior customer service skills

  • Superior oral and written communications skills

  • Exceptional project management abilities

  • Understanding of communications trends and ability to keep up to datewith industry trends

  • Proficiency in the following Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Experience supporting a government or federal agency

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:

$96,367.00 - $163,825.00
