Koniag Data Solutions LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a skilled Workflow Coordinator – Cyber with a TS/SCI clearance to support KDS and our government customer in Washington, DC.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a cybersecurity program management. oversight utilizing collaboration technologies like Microsoft Project, Teams, and Azure DevOps board management. This role involves supporting Cybersecurity Programs comprehensively. While maximum telework is acceptable, the candidate must be located within a 50-mile radius of Washington, DC.

Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Leveraging industry best practices, techniques, tools, and procedures, perform network and digital forensics, incident response, malware analysis.

  • Performing advanced cyber threat hunting throughout the IT enterprise.

  • Analyzing detailed information and intelligence on known and emerging Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) and cybercriminal actors to develop attack hypotheses relevant to the client enterprise.

  • Identify vulnerabilities and weakness within the client systems, determine exposure and complexity of exploit.

  • Integrate Red Teaming into penetration testing processes and procedures.

  • Conduct continuous penetration testing of the enterprise IT environment.

  • Assess the effectiveness of security controls implemented to protect client systems in support of the Authorization Process, Security Impact Analysis through Change Management and as required.

  • Mimic attacks of threat actors defined by the Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) Team to assess and improve IT system resilience, monitoring effectiveness and tuning of security tools within the client environment.

  • Perform ad hoc, focused pen tests to validate effectiveness of corrective actions taken to address identified weaknesses.

  • Integrate services within Agency Software Development Platforms and pipeline processes.

  • Perform Penetration Testing Services for any internal or public websites and associated systems.

  • Provide the results of information gathered during the reconnaissance stage of testing.

  • Provide tactical recommendations to address security issues of immediate consequence.

  • Provide strategic recommendations to enhance security by leveraging industry best practices.

  • Provide optional manual follow up remediation validation testing as requested.

  • Verify the successful migration or repair of findings once penetration testing is complete.

  • Applying agile workflow management practices to enhance the efficiency of cybersecurity programs.

  • Utilizing collaboration technologies such as Microsoft Project, Teams, and Azure DevOps board management for effective task tracking and oversight.

  • Supporting the full spectrum and complexities of Cybersecurity Programs within a technical enterprise environment.

  • Coordinating and managing workflow processes to ensure timely and secure project completion.

Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity program management.

  • Certifications in CISM, CISSP, PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, and SAFe Agile.

  • Strong knowledge and experience in agile project management methodologies.

  • Proficiency in utilizing collaboration technologies for effective task tracking across various platforms.

  • Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity program management principles and best practices.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a technical enterprise setting.

  • Familiarity with overseeing cybersecurity programs from project initiation to completion.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

  • Ability to adapt to changing cybersecurity landscape and industry trends.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university.

Working Environment & Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.

The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
