COUNTY OF WASHINGTON Mental Health Program Director - Children and Adolescents in WASHINGTON, Pennsylvania

The County of Washington Behavioral Health & Developmental Services Department is seeking applicants for the position of Mental Health Program Director for Children and Adolescents.  The starting salary for the position is $60,981.64 with a generous benefits package, including family health insurance, retirement contribution, paid time off and holidays and wellness benefits/activities for both employees and their families. 

This is a rewarding position, helping to ensure that children and adolescents receive quality Mental Health supports.  This position oversees providers of child and adolescent services and works directly with entities to ensure the child/adolescent is receiving the supports needed, as well as their families/caregivers.  This position ensures regulations are met, helps to create new ideas for services and supports, assists with community outreach, supervises the County Child and Adolescent Mental Health staff, and works closely with school districts.

The position requires one year as a County Mental Health Program Specialist 2 OR five years of professional level experience in the field of mental health, including three years of administrative, supervisory, or consultative work; and a bachelor's degree OR any equivalent combination of experience and training.
