The Position: The Electrical Manager will be responsible for the completion of complex electrical projects for all of our asphalt and aggregate plants within the Walbec Group of companies. Primary duties will involve the budgeting, design and project management of electrical work as well as performing field work if necessary. Provide leadership with a strong emphasis on ethics, safety and compliance. Role and Responsibilities Ensure a Safe and Ethical Work Environment. Be self-sufficient and require little direction to determine the scope of electrical projects and arrange for appropriate subcontractors or internal resources to perform the work. Assist as needed with the electrical design and troubleshooting of facility equipment in either Asphalt or Aggregate facilities. Provide or assist in creating written job scopes, securing quotes for the work and handling competitive bid process. Evaluate and review third party engineering conceptual designs, quotations and drawings for accuracy and communicates deficiencies for resolution in the best interest of the company.
