JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Description: The Press Quench Operator is
responsible for the successful daily operation of the press quench work
cell. In this position, you will review the furnace schedules in our
Bluestreak ERP system. You will use a forklift to retrieve parts to be
processed. The work instructions will give you a description of the
needed tooling for installing your presses. After verifying the press
has been set up properly, you will load parts into a furnace with an
overhead part handling system. You will program and monitor the furnace
as the parts are heated. When the parts have completed the heating
cycle, you will use the overhead part handling system to unload the hot
parts from the furnace and into the press, where they will undergo a two
in one pressing and quenching operation. After the press and quench is
finished, you will be required to take dimensional measurements of the
gear teeth, bore and other areas. You will then prepare the parts for
the next thermal operations. You will be processing a variety of parts
with different applications, such as gears as small as 3\" or up to as
large as 48\". Keeping gears flat within very tight tolerances is the
goal we strive for, as other heat treaters find attaining that desired
outcome can be difficult to achieve. You will experience new challenges
