GE Healthcare Staff Software Architect - Test Infrastructure in Waukesha, Wisconsin

Job Description Summary

Our team develops reconstruction algorithms and platforms, using high performance computing, for industry leading CT scanners. We are looking for highly motivated software professionals to join us develop the next generation of CT scanners.

In this role you will design and develop comprehensive test infrastructure for a team developing cutting edge CT reconstruction algorithms. You will be responsible for architecting robust, scalable and automated testing frameworks with an emphasis on accuracy, performance and reliability. You will collaborate closely with subsystem architects and software engineers to integrate testing best practices into the development lifecycle and drive continuous improvement in test coverage, compliance and efficiency.

Job Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Own team’s software testing infrastructure roadmap and testing strategy

  • Improve existing automated testing frameworks to verify accuracy and performance of algorithms and software platform requirements

  • Improve verification feedback timing for the image quality and performance of algorithm changes

  • Ensure thorough coverage across unit, subsystem and integration tests

  • Collaborate with development teams and DevOps engineers to integrate testing into CI/CD pipeline

  • Monitor, analyze and communicate test results

  • Optimize the use of high performance compute hardware testing resources

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or “STEM” majors

  • Proven experience as a Software Architect or similar role in test infrastructure

  • Proficiency in C++, Python and Linux OS

  • Strong background in automated testing and CI/CD pipelines

  • Experience with heterogeneous high performance computing (CPU/GPU)

  • Thorough understanding of SDLC
