Description
We are seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist for our Manufacturing partner based in Wayzata, Minnesota. The successful candidate will handle a variety of tasks, including processing invoices, managing accounts payable, and assisting the accounting department with administrative tasks. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. This is a hybrid onsite role.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the receipt of mail for the Accounts Payable department, including opening, scanning, and inputting invoices that are received.
• Oversee the full cycle of accounts payable, dealing with both purchase order and non-purchase order invoices.
• Implement a 3-way matching process to align invoices with purchase orders and goods received, taking corrective action when necessary.
• Coordinate weekly check run processes, handling both ACH and physical check disbursements.
• Review employee expense reports for accuracy and adherence to company travel and entertainment policy requirements.
• Execute special projects as required.
• Support the accounting department staff with various administrative tasks.
• Maintain the accuracy of customer credit records.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action.
• Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements • Proven experience in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Familiarity with Purchase Orders
• Previous work experience in the Manufacturing Industry, preferably Plastics Manufacturing
• Proficiency in using Infor XA software
• Ability to accurately Code Invoices
• Experience in entering Vendor Invoices
• Skilled in identifying and resolving Invoice Discrepancies
• Proficiency in Invoice Processing
• Experience in handling Manual Invoices
• Familiarity with Payable Invoices processing
