Hiring for a Shipping Manager (Warehouse & Logistics) – On-site

Location: Wentzville, MO 63385

Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 per year + Benefits

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM (Minimal OT)

Work Type: On-site | Full-Time | Direct Hire

About the Role

  • We are hiring an experienced Shipping Manager to oversee all shipping and receiving operations at our Wentzville facility.

  • This role is perfect for a warehouse leader who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, efficient shipping processes, and inventory control.

  • You will collaborate with multiple departments to optimize logistics, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all shipping, receiving, and inventory control operations Supervise and develop a team to maximize efficiency and performance

  • Oversee packing, crating, and shipping documentation (bills of lading, invoices, packing slips, etc.)

  • Maintain compliance with safety regulations, warehouse best practices, and company policies

  • Analyze and improve shipping processes, carrier performance, and logistics cost efficiency

  • Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment to meet customer demands

Education & Experience:

  • bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (Preferred)

  • 5+ years in shipping, warehouse management, or logistics, with at least 2 years in a leadership role

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory management

  • Experience with electronic shipping systems & ERP software Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and operate warehouse equipment

  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills

  • Strong understanding of logistics, freight carriers, packaging, and warehouse safety protocols

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
