Robert Half Project Manager in West Allis, Wisconsin

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager in the Energy/Natural Resources industry. This role is based in West Allis, Wisconsin, and operates on a hybrid schedule, with some work in the office and some remotely. You will be responsible for managing complex projects, coordinating resources, and ensuring the successful delivery of project goals. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Lead complex Payroll and/or Timekeeping transformations, ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget constraints

• Manage multiple types of resources (i.e., BPOs, SMEs, SI partners, off-shore resources, etc.)

• Plan and coordinate all aspects of internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery

• Coordinate work performed by IT staff and internal customers/partners by defining project requirements and performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments

• Develop detailed project plans and manage all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, and training

• Ensure on-time delivery of projects within budget constraints

• Handle software implementations, PC deployment, and process improvement projects

• Conduct cost analysis and manage project planning and transformation processes

• Utilize enterprise level tools and ERP systems for project management

• Manage and monitor project upgrades, deployments, and change management processes. Requirements • Proven experience in Project Management within the Energy/Natural Resources industry

• Excellent skills in Documentation and Training

• Knowledge and experience in handling Payroll

• Familiarity with Planning Processes and Project Planning

• Proficiency in the use of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems

• Ability to monitor project Progress and Implementation

• Experience with Monitoring Tools and software

• Ability to work effectively with Partners and manage Upgrades

• Demonstrated skills in Process Improvement and Change Management

• Competency in Cost Analysis and Deployments

• Knowledge of PC OS and software Implementations

• Experience in Project Planning and Transformation processes

• Skills in Time Keeping and UAT (User Acceptance Testing)

• Ability to ensure Time Delivery of projects

• Experience in Resource Allocation and working with Internal Customers

• Experience at the Enterprise Level is a must
