Job Title: Rewinder
Job Description
Our company is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Rewinder. As a Rewinder, your essential duties and responsibilities include mounting a roll of material on machine supports, threading material over tension bar between feed rollers, and under rotary blades. You will be expected to slit and breakdown finished press rolls according to docket specifications, ensuring that the final product meets our stringent quality and accuracy standards. You will be tasked with preparing all required paperwork such as packing lists, bills of lading, job docket production reports, and logging appropriate job information on core tags to identify master rolls. Your role will also involve maintaining all rewind equipment in top condition, operating machine controls to start, stop, and regulate the speed of the machine, and aligning material with rotary blades. You will also be responsible for disengaging the winding shaft and removing narrow rolls of material. It is essential that you understand and apply all company rules, policies, and safety regulations, and maintain a clean and neat work area.
