Monte Nido Portland, located in West Linn, OR is a residential treatment program exclusively for adults seeking treatment for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction. Monte Nido’s treatment approach focuses on the restoration of physiological and nutritional balance, implementation of healthy eating and exercise routines, elimination of harmful behaviors, and development of motivation and treatment engagement. Our objective is to help each client achieve a clear understanding of their eating and/or exercise disorder and its effect on their life, as well as an individualized appreciation of what is necessary for their personal recovery.

We are seeking an Assistant Clinical Director assist in leading the Monte Nido team.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist the Clinical Director in oversight of the program and management of the milieu

  • Provide effective leadership to the clinical staff and support to the multidisciplinary treatment team

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy

  • Conduct clinical assessments

  • Participate in discharge and aftercare planning

  • Model healthy relationship with food when working during facility meal times

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a clinical counseling discipline (e.g., Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling)

  • Licensed in a clinical counseling field (e.g. LPC, LMFT, LMSW, LCSW) preferred.

  • One year of experience working in a behavioral health setting with management experience is preferred

  • Prior experience treating individuals eating disorders in a residential or hospital setting helpful

  • Experience with employee selection and performance management is a plus
