Job Description:
Ensure software quality through testing software and software platforms for specific business needs including enhancements, maintenance, and defect fixes for clinical and non-clinical business areas;
Design and develop software quality approaches to be implemented by others and provide technical guidance and mentoring;
Create and maintain software test plans and individual test cases using approved standards, processes, and tools for common and complex projects;
Develop and maintain the hardware and software systems that run automated tests;
Evaluate the level of risk in determining the scope and coverage of individual software test plans;
Execute test cases and document software defects;
Collaborate in the development and review of software requirements;
Report results and make recommendations to key business stakeholders and groups on the quality of the project, software development lifecycle processes, and the risk of promoting for production use;
Develop and implement communication plans to all internal and external stakeholder groups;
Participate in the creation and management of software quality project plans to meet agreed upon deadlines and escalate issues, concerns, and barriers to key project leaders;
Assist in prioritizing tasks and assignments related to software quality assurance; and
Create software test harnesses, automation, and performance testing frameworks.
Position may telecommute from any state in the United States except California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Rhode Island, and Washington.
Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge of system analysis, quality assurance, and engineering using electronic health record platforms Cerner, Touchworks, and IDX;
Knowledge of Healthcare Domain specific to Orders, Physician, Nursing, and Surgery Workflows;
Knowledge of developing quality assurance test plans for healthcare integrated systems;
Knowledge of integration testing of third-party systems;
Knowledge of SoapUI;
Knowledge of Healthlevel 7 (HL7) framework;
Knowledge of IRIS and Rhapsody interface engines;
Knowledge of RevenueCycle, PMOffice, Powerchart, Firstnet, Schapptbook, HNAuser, and SI_Troubleshoot Cerner applications;
Knowledge of Symplr Provider and Visual Cactus.
Knowledge of TQM methodologies;
Knowledge of Six Sigma improvement techniques;
Knowledge of Production Team Audit and Risk Assessment Audit.

Salary (Annual): $121,000.00 – $131,000.00

Hours of work: Usually 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
