Overview
The Government Contracts Administrator 2 is responsible for assisting in the management of the company's procurement vehicles including but not limited to federal national and state/local purchasing contracts.
What you will be doing
Assist the government contracts and proposal services teams in preparing formal responses to any new contract vehicles
Assist the government contracts team with meeting the requirements of pricelist updates, including price justification requirements, historical data, etc.
Work with government contracts team to provide internal training to HR, procurement, sales and additional internal departments on compliance requirements
Prepare business case for any new contract vehicles requested to increase revenue in the vertical markets
Act as first point of contact for customers regarding pricing, invoicing, maintenance, modifications, service or other related questions and issues.
Monitor existing contracts for compliance with requirements, renewal dates, action items, regulations and any other issues.
Assist the government contracts team with implementation of any compliance requirements under the contracts, including compliance manual creation and updates.
Act as an internal resource for government contracts team for quoting and contract scope assistance, ensuring quotes are within contract limitations.
Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland's Information Systems Security Policy
What will make you successful
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Experience in the administration of statewide cooperative contracts such as CMAS, OH State Term Schedule, TX DIR, and VITA for a software company
Good oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects independently to completion
Able to provide exceptional follow through and be customer-service driven
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity, discretion and tact
Detail oriented; regularly verifies all work thoroughly and efficiently to ensure accuracy
Experience navigating contracts and readily identifying and understanding relevant information
Able to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job
Based on individual states' employment laws, the following details are to comply with the relevant salary posting requirements: base salary range of $56,800-85,200 and eligible for bonus and benefits
