The Learning Program Manager supports programs that equip Trimble's
customers, channel (dealers) and internal teams with the knowledge,
tools, and processes to succeed. These programs target users in Trimble's
Civil Construction Field Solutions (CCFS) division, globally.
The Learning Program Manager oversees Trimble's custom-designed sales
enablement program, Trimble Way. The Learning Program Manager provides
broad, high-level oversight to ensure the Trimble Way program runs
efficiently, meets program goals effectively, and delivers the best Return
On Investment (ROI).
The Learning Program Manager oversees the Regional Learning Centers program.
This entails collaborating with Trimble's channel organizations and internal
operations to enable sales and broaden access to learning for
dealers/customers
The Learning Program Manager may expand Trimble programs by coordinating and
facilitating training as needed. This includes identifying needs and
opportunities, then finding, documenting, and/or communicating
existing learning resources; pitching external training when applicable;
and partnering with internal subject matter experts (SMEs) to create
solutions that meet learning outcomes.
The Learning Program Manager is a high-energy individual who is passionate
about creating impactful learning experiences. The ideal candidate must
possess superior communication and interpersonal skills; must be familiar
with all Trimble technologies in the CCFS business; have experience managing
employees and subcontractors; and actively lead training programs
development and delivery. In addition, the Learning Program Manager can
apply Adult Learning Principles and has strong project and product management
skills. This role oversees global programs and up to 25% travel is required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Learning Program Manager is responsible for the following:
Trimble Way Sales Training Program: planning and monitoring program
execution; project coordination and managing project interdependencies;
creating and managing budget; identifying and addressing problems/risks;
defining and capturing program data, analyzing trends, recommending
improvements; stakeholder communications, negotiations, and
problem-solving; marketing strategy and material design; aligning or
realigning deliverables with program outcomes; coordinating program
resources such as third-party vendors, SMEs, and stakeholders.
Regional Learning Centers : partner with Trimble channel organizations to
deploy regional learning centers within the cost and revenue sharing model for
Trimble learning technology and content. Build sub-domains of Trimble
Learning Management Systems for regional deployments, identify and
coordinate relevant learning content, enforce Trimble training quality
standards,, and drive Trimble customer success through learning connection
and engagement.
Manages workload responsibly and meets project goals and deadlines. Provides
project management and leadership for course development and maintenance
projects, ensuring timeline and quality requirements are met; communicates
project timelines, statuses, and action items to stakeholders.
May evaluate and recommend off-the-shelf/vendor training programs,
training software, and other systems used to drive learning transfer.
Fully utilizes Trimble's LMS in the delivery and tracking of learning
solutions.
Keeps abreast of industry trends, both within our businesses and within the
learning field.
Build and manage online training curricula for CCFS, as needed. Learning
solutions may include e-learning, instructor-led training, and informal
learning channels on Learn.Trimble.
Quarterly cost, revenue, and strategic milestones reporting to Director of
Learning CCFS and other business Stakeholders.
Learning Plans and Learning Progress Reporting for managers within the CCFS
business and dealers network.
Connection and c llaboration with product/solution specific contributors
(Product Managers and Solution Engineers).
Understanding of users' workflows and learning needs within the Civil
Engineering technology business at Trimble, at dealers organization, and
at customers' job sites.
Perform other duties as required.
Experience, Education & Skills:
Minimum three years of experience in a professional role related to technology
training and development.
Bachelor degree preferably in a field related to Civil Engineering,
Construction Management or Geomatics.
Preferred experience using Trimble solutions in a Civil Construction
industry, specifically machine control and site positioning systems.
Desired experience in implementing workflow solutions within construction
industry.
Experience working with non-native English speakers and with organizations
based outside the US.
Proven ability to learn and train others on software and/or hardware
technologies.
